
Hinds Leads UF in Final Day at National Championships

SAN ANTONIO -- The University of Florida swimming team brought an end to the fifth and final day of the 2015 Phillips 66 National Championships on Monday afternoon inside the Northside Swim Center in San Antonio.
Senior Natalie Hinds highlighted Monday's competition with a top-25 showing in the 100-meter freestyle. Hinds, a 16-time All-American, touched in at the 56.15 mark to finish 22nd among the field.
Austin Manganiello also took part in Monday's prelims session. The Miami, Florida, native competed in the 200-meter backstroke and finished 44th overall (2:03.81).
Incoming freshman Hannah Burns swam the final event for UF. A Gainesville, Florida, product, Burns clocked a time of 2:35.20 in the prelims to finish 42nd.
