Student Initiatives for #Swamp15

The Florida football team kicks off the season in less than three weeks. With students moving back to campus this week, the University Athletic Association is proud to announce the following student initiatives for #Swamp15.
Any students still wishing to purchase season tickets can do so up until the season opener. Tickets for the year cost $105 and guarantee a seat at all seven home games this season. Complete information is available online at GatorZone.com/students.
Rally in the Swamp
The University of Florida Alumni Association and the University Athletic Association are teaming up to host the second “Rally in the Swamp presented by Alert Today Florida,” a student pep rally to be held Sunday, August 23 to welcome students back to campus and get them ready for the start of the football season. $5 Guest Ticket Deal for Season Opener
As a special deal for all Florida student season ticket holders, the Gator Ticket Office is offering $5 guest tickets for the season opener against New Mexico State on September 5. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. at The Swamp. Guest tickets normally range in price from $25-85 for home games.
#FloridaFriday
Students are encouraged to wear their Gators colors (Orange & Blue) each Friday before a home football game. Post your pictures on social media with the hashtag #FloridaFriday for a chance to win prizes, follow @GatorStudents to find out more information. Each Friday, keep an eye out for around campus for special prizes from Albert and Alberta and our spirit squads.
Student T-Shirt
As always, all 2015 student season ticket holders will be given an official t-shirt for the season. (Pictured, right)
Rowdy Town – Football Student Tailgate
New for 2015, the Rowdy Town Football Student Tailgate, presented by Subway and ApartmentsinGainesville.com, will provide an all-new, exclusive student tailgate before football games at The Swamp. Join us at Gate 3 of the Stephen C. O'Connell Center beginning 2.5 hours before the game and enjoy food, tailgate games, music, Gator spirit squads and more. Be sure to have your UF student ID for admission.
Ticket Pickup
Students who have purchased season tickets for football will be able to pick up tickets each game week. The student ticket office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. outside Gate 13 and Gate 14 of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Seat assignments are random so if you want to sit with friends be sure to pick up your tickets together.
Student Tunnel
All student season ticket holders for 2015 Florida Football have been automatically included for a chance to participate in a pre-game on-field team entrance tunnel. Fifty students with season tickets will be chosen at random for this opportunity prior to the game against East Carolina on September 12. Chosen students will be contacted on Monday, September 7th via email. Winners will also receive tickets to Howl-O Scream at Busch Gardens.
Student Mr. Two Bits
One lucky student will have a chance to be the Gators' honorary Mr. Two Bits in front of the crowd at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and lead the team out of the tunnel as Florida hosts East Carolina on Saturday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. The winning student will also have the chance to perform Mr. Two Bits at Gator Growl. To enter, students must create a convincing and spirited video about why YOU should get this opportunity, and share on Twitter using the hashtag #StudentTwoBits. Entries will be accepted beginning Monday, August 24 and will close on Friday, August 28. The winner will also receive tickets to Howl-O Scream at Busch Gardens.
