GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Both of the University of Florida soccer's preseason matches are closed to the public.
- Tuesday, Aug. 11 vs. Troy (Exhibition) at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 15 vs. Florida Gulf Coast (Exhibition) at 7 p.m.
The matches will be held at the team's practice field, located behind the Donald R. Dizney Stadium. Most of the Gators' matches are played at the James G. Pressly Stadium, but the field is undergoing some field work and won't be quite ready by next week.
The Gators, ranked No. 8 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America preseason poll, will open the 2015 season Friday, Aug. 21 at No. 17 UCF.
Home action kicks off with a bang when the defending NCAA champion and preseason No. 1 Florida State Seminoles come to town for an Aug. 30 match. That match is set for 7 p.m. at Pressly Stadium and will air live on the SEC Network.
