GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- University of Florida head men's golf coach JC Deacon met with the media on Monday to recap the season-opening Carpet Capital Collegiate and discuss the upcoming DICK'S Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup.
The Gators return to competition on Friday, when they tee off the DICK'S Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup at the Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs, Tenn. The ACC-SEC challenge features three rounds of stroke play Friday and Saturday before moving on to match play competition on Sunday.
