GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Twenty-nine former Gators are currently on National Football League rosters. Following Sunday's competition in Week 2 of the 2015-16 season, former Gator and current Washington Redskin running back Matt Jones led the group after rushing for 123 yards on 19 attempts (6.5 avg.).
Jones scored a pair of touchdowns in Washington's 24-10 win over St. Louis and remains in consideration for two weekly awards -- Pepsi Rookie Playor of the Week and FedEx Ground Player of the Week.
