Thursday, September 24, 2015 | Football
SEC Network's traveling pregame show, SEC Nation, is set up and ready for a crowd. The show will air live from 10-12 a.m. at the Plaza of the Americas on Saturday ahead of the Florida-Tennessee game. Fans are encouraged to show up early.
Scheduled appearances on the show include head coach Jim McElwain, Gator Great Alex Brown, baseball head coach Kevin O'Sullivan and sophomore catcher JJ Schwarz and national champion gymnast Bridget Sloan.
Each week SEC Nation aims to embed itself in the fandom of a Southeastern Conference game day. Fans are invited to participate in the live show and tailgate alongside host Joe Tessitore, analysts Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears and Greg McElroy, as well Paul Finebaum and reporter Kaylee Hartung. The expert panel – which holds a Heisman Trophy, three national championship titles and five SEC Championship wins– discusses the morning headlines, matchup previews and shares a taste of each school's tailgating scene. SEC Nation is live from 10 a.m. to noon ET every Saturday.
The show is currently in its second season and has visited every SEC school. Last year, the show made its SEC Network premiere on the South Carolina campus. This year, SEC Nation debuted at Arkansas and visited Vanderbilt in Week 2.
