Fall Practice Begins in One Week

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida baseball team officially begins practice for the 2017 season one week from today.
Starting Tuesday, Oct. 11, the entire squad will begin on-field workouts, including scrimmages. Fall practices will be held between Oct. 11 and Nov. 20 at McKethan Stadium. The team has been conducting individual workouts and conditioning drills since they returned to school to start the fall semester.
The Gators will practice Tuesday through Friday during their first week at the following times:
The Gators' 2017 schedule will feature 35 games within the friendly confines of McKethan Stadium at Perry Field, where the squad is 265-74 (.782) during Kevin O'Sullivan's tenure. Head coach Kevin O'Sullivan begins his 10th season at the helm and is joined by assistant coaches Craig Bell, Brad Weitzel and Lars Davis.
