
Allen and Egbunu Named to Coaches Preseason All-SEC Team

The duo both earned a second-team nod on the list voted by the SEC coaches.
KeVaughn Allen and John Egbunu have been named to the coaches preseason All-SEC team, the conference announced on Thursday. The Gators are one of five teams to place multiple players on the list.
Both players were picked second-team All-SEC in the 13th annual preseason vote. This is Allen's second such preseason honor, previously earning second-team recognition from the media, as well. The coaches do not make a predicted order of finish in their preseason poll.
The Gators tip off the season on Friday in Jacksonville vs. FGCU, and tickets are available. Tickets are also available for the Gators' first season in the renovated Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
