Fourth top-10 matchup in O'Connell Center this season.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – It's another top-10 match-up in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center, as the Gators plays host to Louisiana State this Friday. Meet time is set for 6:45 p.m. ET.
Florida is the nation's only program to play host to a top-10 opponent for each home meet so far in 2016. Last month, Florida took home wins versus No. 5 UCLA (Jan. 12) and another No. 5 team with its victory over Alabama on Jan. 29. Earlier this month, Florida defeated No. 9 Arkansas in the Gator Link to Pink meet.
Friday's Promotions:
The first 500 fans Friday receive a Gator gymnastics tumbler.
It's Gator gymnastics ticket BOGO Friday. Those showing a UF Alumni Association or UF Gator1 identification can get Buy One, Get One tickets.
Tickets for Friday's meet are $5 for adults, while children 17 and under and UF students showing a Gator1 card are admitted free. To get tickets for Friday's meet, visit the FloridaGators.com ticket site or stop by the Gator Ticket Office (open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.).

Last Year's Meetings Between Florida and LSU:
LSU took the win in both meetings with the Gators in 2015. In dual meet action, then No. 3 LSU took a 197.95 – 197.425 win in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. That meet marked the return to competition for Florida's Bridget Sloan, as she appeared in the uneven bars lineup at LSU. Sloan suffered a severely sprained right ankle in the season opener and sat out five meets with the injury. The Tigers also nipped the Gators for the 2015 Southeastern Conference Championships' runner-up spot, 197.425 – 197.40. That was the 10th time in the two team's 98 all-time meetings that a tenth of a point or less decided the meet standings.

Florida used the nation's fifth-highest total of 2016 to take a 197.75 – 196.65 win at No. 19 Missouri on Feb. 19.
The Gators swept the event titles, with sophomore Kennedy Baker taking her first collegiate all-around title at 39.575. Alex McMurtry turned in her collegiate-best of 9.95 to take her second consecutive and third overall balance beam win of 2016. Senior Bridgette Caquatto matched her collegiate-best uneven bars mark of 9.95 for the seventh time of her career to win the event title.
Bridget Sloan used the highest mark of the evening, 9.975, to win the floor exercise title. She also posted a season-best 9.925 to take her first vault title of 2016. The two wins for Sloan puts her one win away from tying former Gator Kytra Hunter for third at 83 on the Gators' Career Events Wins list.
About the Tigers:
LSU posted the nation's fourth-highest total of 2016 last Friday with their 197.825-197.125 home win versus No. 8 Auburn.
Friday's meet in Gainesville marks the fifth top-10 opponent for the Tigers this season. LSU has split in meetings with top-ranked Oklahoma and has home wins versus then No. 8 Arkansas and No. 8 Auburn.
Junior Ashleigh Gnat is the nation's individual leader for perfect marks in 2016 as she added a 10.0 on floor last Friday to the two vault 10.0s she scored earlier in 2016. Myia Hambrick twice has turned in LSU's top all-around total of 39.625 this season. She is a three-time recipient of SEC Gymnast of the Week in 2016.

The three who picked up the SEC Gymnastics Weekly honors will be in the O'Connell Center Friday. LSU's Hambrick is the SEC Gymnast of the Week and Gnat is the SEC Specialist of the Week.
Florida's Alicia Boren, who took second in the Missouri dual all-around at 39.45, claimed her fourth SEC Freshman of the Week honor on Tuesday.
