Lindsey Ronbeck Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Ronbeck led the Gators with two goals and three points against No. 1 Maryland.
NEW YORK -- Gator freshman Lindsey Ronbeck was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Tuesday, her second honor from the conference office this year after being the Freshman of the Week March 8.
In No. 2 UF's clash against No. 1 Maryland Saturday, Ronbeck led the Gators with three points -- two goals and an assist -- against the Terps. After the Terrapins took a 2-0 lead early, Ronbeck struck with back-to-back goals to knot the game at 2-2 early. Ronbeck notched her third multiple-goal outing of the season -- with all those coming against top-three teams in the nation. She then assisted redshirt senior Nicole Graziano's goal right out of the locker room at the half.
The Orange and Blue moved to 9-1 on the season and 6-1 against top-20 opponents following their seventh ranked clash of the season against the Terrapins.
Florida opens BIG EAST play this weekend against Vanderbilt. Opening draw between the Gators and Dores is slated for noon Saturday.
