AUBURN, Ala.- The No. 6 University of Florida women's tennis team won their eleventh straight match on Sunday afternoon in Auburn, Ala. The Gators defeated the No. 13 Tigers, 4-0 to remain undefeated in SEC play at 11-0.

In the closest doubles match of the season, the point took one hour to decide. No. 31-ranked Josie Kuhlman and Belinda Woolcock won on court two, 6-2 in
dominant fashion over de Man and Turner. The match clinching win came from No. 7-ranked Brooke Austin and Kourtney Keegan over No. 22-ranked Burgman and Michaud by way of a 9-7 tiebreaker.

Singles action saw the bottom half of the Florida lineup win the three matches to secure a Gators' victory. Keegan was first off the court with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Alannah Griffin. Kuhlman would complete her match next by defeating de Man, 6-4, 6-1. Sophomore Anna Danilina clinched the match for the Orange and Blue over Caroline Turner, 6-3, 6-2.

Up next, the Gators face off with the No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs next Friday night in a marquee matchup at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. First serve is set for 5 p.m. ET.

"We played really well. It was a fighting match in doubles The No. 2 doubles were flawless today and then we had to dig out of a little bit of a hole at No. 1 doubles. They played really well at the end. Overall in singles, we played really well. It is always nice to see the one player off of the court super quick and from start to finish, Kourtney was clinical today. We feel really good about this weekend and we feel like we are getting stronger. We feel more confident with this weekend and we are looking forward to heading home and preparing for the Bulldogs next Friday night."
