KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The No. 4 University of Florida women's tennis team swept the Tennessee Volunteers to remain perfect in the SEC regular season. The 4-0 decision was the Gators' third consecutive shutout and tenth in the 2016 dual match season. The Gators 13-0 record in the SEC is the 24^th time UF has remained undefeated in SEC regular season play.

Another dominating performance from the Gators in doubles secured the early lead for the Orange and Blue. The No. 5-ranked pair of Brooke Austin and Kourtney Keegan defeated Tavares and Taylor, 6-3. For the tenth time this season, Anna Danilina and Brianna Morgan clinched the point for Florida with a 6-2 win on two.

In singles action, the Gators only allowed the Volunteers to win two games in the three winning matches. Junior Spencer Liang was first off the court with a dominating shutout on six, 6-0, 6-0 over Taylor Margo. Fellow-junior Keegan was next off the court with a 6-1, 6-0 win on three. Court five saw Danilina clinch the Florida victory for the third time in four matches.

Up next, the Gators get set for postseason play, beginning with the 2016 SEC Tournament in Baton Rouge, La. The Gators are the No.1 seed in the tournament and will play the winner of Kentucky and LSU on Friday, April 22 at 2 p.m.
