Carter's CornerGators coach Becky Burleigh will be there.
Burleigh is adding a new role to her long history in the sport, serving as the Pride's color analyst for tonight's game against the Houston Dash.
"I'm a little nervous for my commentating debut, so I've been preparing and reading up on the teams,'' Burleigh said. "Excited to be a part of the return of professional women's soccer to the state of Florida."
You can watch the game and listen to Burleigh's analysis during a live stream starting at 7:30 p.m. on YouTube:
Burleigh has close connections to the professional and international game, and two of her former players at Florida, Abby Wambach and Heather Mitts, starred for the U.S. Women's National Team in recent years.
Wambach helped the USWNT win the World Cup last summer before officially retiring from the sport late last year.
Alex Morgan, the Pride's star attraction, was a teammate of Wambach's on the 2015 USWNT and is one of the major faces of the NWSL. Morgan and Pride teammate Ashlyn Harris, along with Houston's Carli Lloyd and Morgan Brian, are members of the U.S. World Cup championship team in action tonight at the Citrus Bowl.
