- Hitting Streak:
Â
Coaches' CornerAssistant Coach Jennifer Rocha:On Sunday's game…"I think it speaks to what we've been good at all year, pitching and defense. When you play a team like Alabama you can't make mistakes. One pitch or one mistake can really come back and get you."
Â
On UF going forward…"It just reminds us that there's always things to work on. Sometimes you get exploited in the middle of the season, there's no secrets, everyone knows what your weaknesses are and teams will attack those. We're just going to have to do a better job of understanding in all aspects of the game."
Â
Series History- Following this weekend's series, Alabama holds the all-time series lead, 35-31, including a 16-11 mark in Gainesville, Fla.
- Prior to last season's three-game matchup in Tuscaloosa, UF and UA last met in the 2014 Women's College World Series Championship Series when Florida swept Alabama to capture its first NCAA Championship.
