Gators, Tigers Set for Top-15 Match Up on Sunday

The No. 6 Florida Gators take on the No. 13 Auburn Tigers at 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the Yarbrough Tennis Center
GAINESVILLE, Fla.- The No. 6 University of Florida women's tennis team squares off against the No. 13 Auburn Tigers on Sunday afternoon the Yarbrough Tennis Center in Auburn, Ala. First serve is set for 2 p.m. ET.

On Friday night, the Gators made quick work of the Alabama Crimson Tide with a 6-1 win in Tuscaloosa to remain undefeated in SEC play. Auburn enters the contest with a 20-4 overall record and an impressive 8-2 record in conference competition.

The Gators will continue their season-ending road stretch with a trip to Athens, Ga. next Friday night to take on the No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

Last Serve with the Tigers
The Gators swept the Tigers in Gainesville on March 1, 2015. After grabbing the doubles point, Austin, Porter and Woolcock grabbed singles wins with Brianna Morgan clinching the win for the Orange and Blue.

The Gators are undefeated against Auburn with 37 wins over the Tigers.

The bottom half of the Florida lineup has been more than impressive in conference play this season. In SEC singles play, the four, five and six spots have a combined record of 24-1 with five different Gators playing in those three positions.

Josie Kuhlman has clinched three matches for the Gators this season, all coming against Top-25 opponents: No. 5 Vanderbilt, No. 8 South Carolina and No. 25 Texas A&M.
