TULSA, Okla. – The No. 3-ranked University of Florida women's tennis team will have two members in the NCAA Doubles Semifinals that will take place on Sunday afternoon in Tulsa, Okla.
Brooke Austin and
Kourtney Keegan used a dominating win at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon to advance to the NCAA Semifinals.
The No. 3-ranked Gator tandem needed an early comeback in the first set to get the momentum rolling in the match. After falling to a 4-1 deficit to Arizona State's No. 15-ranked Osborne and Panoho in the first set, the Orange and Blue duo won six straight games to take the first set 6-4.
The momentum continued to swing in Florida's favor as Austin and Keegan would dominate in the second set to win 6-1 and advance to the NCAA Doubles Semifinals.
Up next, the UF tandem will play the winner of Harrison/McPhillips and Adachi/Sutjiadi on Sunday afternoon for a berth in the NCAA Doubles Final.
