The road to becoming a three-time Olympian has been a challenging one.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gator Great Kerron Clement's path to the Olympic Games has been an adventure.
At the 2008 Olympic Games, Clement claimed the silver medal in a 1-2-3 USA sweep of the 400-meter hurdles and then a gold as a member of the 4x100-meter relay team.
The road to even make the 2012 Olympic Team was much more difficult, but he did and reached the finals of the 400m hurdles.
"It felt like I had won a million dollars a gold medal because of the journey of getting to the finals and the journey of make the [Olympic] team," Clement shared.
Clement won his showcase event at the 2016 USA Olympic Trials and became just the third three-time 400-meter hurdles Olympian in United States history.
Clement shares how he has overcome so much and what it has taken for him to become a three-time Olympian.
