GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- They woke up this morning knowing summer was officially over.
Florida football players began to report to fall camp around noon on Wednesday with the start of preseason practice set for Thursday.
The Gators, defending SEC East champions, will participate in UF Media Day later this afternoon. Head coach Jim McElwain, who led Florida to a 10-4 record in his first season, opens the festivities with a press conference scheduled for 1:45 p.m. You can watch McElwain's press conference via a live stream on YouTube produced by GatorVision:
Meanwhile, Gators defensive coordinator Geoff Collins and offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier are scheduled to speak to the media starting around 4 p.m. You can also watch their press conference via a live stream on YouTube produced by GatorVision:
