A pair of Gator gymnasts graduated with honors in Saturday's summer commencement ceremonies. Bridgette Caquatto and Bianca Dancose-Giambattisto are among the 20 Florida student-athletes who received their degrees during this weekend's graduation ceremonies. A tradition throughout their Gator careers, Bridgette Caquatto (left) and Bianca Dancose-Giambattisto would chest-bump during home meet pre-meet introductions. The pair both graduated with honors Saturday.
The duo received their applied physiology and kinesiology degrees cum laude. Dancose-Giambattisto receives a $5,000 scholarship as a nominee for the Brad Davis Southeastern Conference Community Service Award.
Both were members of Florida's 2013, 2014 and 2015 NCAA Championship teams. They also were part of Florida's 2013 and 2016 Southeastern Conference teams.
Caquatto was a seven-time All-American during her collegiate career. Both earned All-SEC honors during their Gator careers.
Each appeared on the SEC Academic Honor Roll as sophomore, junior and seniors. Dancose-Giambattisto made four-appearances on the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches (NACGC) Scholastic All-America team and Caquatto earned the same honor three times.
