Florida's 2016 Southeastern Conference title was celebrated Friday evening with a team dinner in the G. Edwards Evans Champions Club level of the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Each member of the team received rings for the Gators' 2016 SEC Championship.
The Gators used the sport's slimmest margin to claim its 10th Southeastern Conference title in North Little Rock's Verizon Arena. Florida edged runner-up Alabama 197.775-197.75 to equal the smallest winning margin in the meet's history.

- Jenny Rowland joins volleyball's Mary Wise as the two members of the current Gators' coaching staff who claimed a SEC team title in their first season with Florida. Wise shared the 1991 SEC title with LSU and went on to claim 18 consecutive league titles.
