GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The top-five soccer match between No. 5 Florida at No. 1 Florida State is cancelled due to travel safety concerns.
The match was to be played Friday at 7 p.m. at the Seminole Soccer Complex.
No make-up date has been scheduled at this time.
Next for the Gators:
Florida continues road action Sunday, Sept. 4 when it plays Oklahoma State (2-1-1) in Stillwater, Okla. Match time is set for 1 p.m. ET at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex.
These two teams have met each of the last three seasons. The Gators have won each meeting, including a 3-2 overtime win in Gainesville in 2015.
The match can be heard on ESPN 95.3FM/850AM. It also will stream free at okstate.com/live.
