Gators in Thursday's Action:
Two players subbed into Florida's last match to provide a goal late in the opening half and then an early second-half goal to give the Gators a 2-0 win over Kentucky. With the first half winding to a close, Julia Lester saw an opening and told Sarah Troccoli to make a run. Lester's ball from high in the UK half found Troccoli above the Wildcat box. Troccoli took a touch and then hit a curler that hit under the crossbar and kicked in at 44:34. It was Troccoli's first goal of 2017 and her 10th as a Gator.

In the second half, Gabby Seiler looked at her options at the top of the UK defensive third. She played a ball to freshman Madison Alexander at the top of the box. Alexander took a touch to right to create space and then hit a 17-yard shot to the far post at 51:57. It was her second collegiate goal, with both coming in the last six matches.

The shutout was the fifth of 2017 for Kaylan Marckese. Her career total of solo shutouts (19) ties for fourth all-time among Gator goalkeepers.
