GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida soccer finishes 2017 regular-season road action Sunday at No. 11 Tennessee. Match time 1 p.m. ET at the Regal Soccer Stadium and admission is free.
Sunday's match is the first of two top-12 matches for the Gators this week. UF closes regular-season action Thursday when they play host to No. 3 South Carolina.

This is the ninth time in the all-time series history that both teams rank in the top-25 for a meeting. The last came in 2011 when then No. 12 Tennessee took a 4-2 win over then No. 6 Florida.

Two Southeastern Conference matches remain for each team.
Florida is third in the league standings with 18 points off its 6-2 SEC record. Tennessee is right behind the Gators, tied for fourth with 16 SEC points.

Gators in Thursday's Action:
Two players subbed into Florida's last match to provide a goal late in the opening half and then an early second-half goal to give the Gators a 2-0 win over Kentucky. With the first half winding to a close,
Julia Lester saw an opening and told
Sarah Troccoli to make a run. Lester's ball from high in the UK half found Troccoli above the Wildcat box. Troccoli took a touch and then hit a curler that hit under the crossbar and kicked in at 44:34. It was Troccoli's first goal of 2017 and her 10
th as a Gator.

In the second half,
Gabby Seiler looked at her options at the top of the UK defensive third. She played a ball to freshman
Madison Alexander at the top of the box. Alexander took a touch to right to create space and then hit a 17-yard shot to the far post at 51:57. It was her second collegiate goal, with both coming in the last six matches.

The shutout was the fifth of 2017 for
Kaylan Marckese. Her career total of solo shutouts (19) ties for fourth all-time among Gator goalkeepers.

About the Tennessee Vols:
Tennessee opened 2017 with nine straight wins. Early SEC play saw a 1-1 2OT tie versus Auburn and a 1-0 loss at No. 3 South Carolina, but since then the Vols have posted four consecutive wins before dropping a 2-1 decision at Vanderbilt Thursday. Florida and Tennessee have played seven common opponents – Auburn (UF loss, UT tie), Alabama (UF & UT wins), Georgia (UF & UT wins), Kentucky (UF & UT wins), Missouri (UF & UT wins), Mississippi (UF & UT wins), Vanderbilt (UF win, UT loss).
