Gators in the NFL - Week Seven

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Another Sunday full of NFL action has come and gone, and 48 Gators on 26 teams took to the field for week seven action on the gridiron.
Gators can be found all throughout the NFL, and the 48 current Gators in the NFL puts Florida inside the top-5 for the most players from one university.
Marcus Maye stood out this week for the Jets, recording seven tackles, three of which were solo and four that were assisted on. In the game, Maye also earned his second career interception that he returned for 32 yards. Maye was a second round pick in the 2017 draft. While at UF, Maye made 40 appearances, accumulating 121 tackles and one sack with five interceptions, six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
