ATHENS, Ga. – Florida's
Anna Danilina lost in the final of the 2017 ITA Southeast Regional Championships Presented by Oracle played at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on Monday.

The Gator senior dropped a tough 6-4, 6-2 decision to Georgia's seventh-seeded Katarina Jokic at the Bulldog's indoor facility.

Danilina held a 4-2 lead, up one break, in the first before Jokic rallied to win four straight games to take the opening set and carried that momentum into the second where she claimed the win on her home court.

Jokic completed a terrific run at the four-day event, knocking off a number of nationally-ranked opponents, including the top two seeds, and earned an automatic berth into the 2017 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, considered the second leg of the collegiate Grand Slam, that will be held Nov. 1-5 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, California.

Format & Scoring
- No-ad scoring will be used in all ITA singles and doubles matches.
- Singles will be 2-out-of-3 sets except Consolation which will play 10-point Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set.
- In all ITA Regional Championship events a doubles match must consist of a minimum of an 8-game pro set (tiebreak at 7-all), with the semifinals and finals doubles matches consisting of 2-out-of-3 sets, with a 10-point Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set.
