GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Another Sunday full of NFL action has come and gone, and 48 Gators on 26 teams took to the field for week five action on the gridiron.
Gators can be found all throughout the NFL, and the 48 current Gators in the NFL puts Florida inside the top-5 for the most players from one university.
Marcus Maye had a great game in the Jets 17-14 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Maye recorded four tackles, three solo and one assisted with a pass break up and an interception that he returned for 12-yards. A 2017 second-round pick by the Jets had a solid career while at Florida, accumulating 121 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack, six interceptions and six forced fumbles.
