Orange Team Sweeps #OBSeries

Orange 4, Blue 1 (7 innings)

WHAT HAPPENED: The Orange squad once again came from behind to beat the Blue team, winning 4-1 on Sunday afternoon to complete the three-game sweep in the Orange & Blue Series. The Blue team scored on Cal Greenfield's RBI double in the second inning but the Orange team responded with two runs in the next half inning to take the lead.

Austin Langworthy's RBI single tied the game at one and a sac fly from Jonathan India gave Orange a 2-1 lead. A pair of solo home runs from Nick Horvath gave the Orange team a 4-1 victory.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Horvath went 8-for-12 (.667) in the three game series with three home runs, four RBI and seven runs scored. The senior also pitched two scoreless innings.

STANDOUT STAT: The Orange team did not allow a hit over the final 3.2 innings.

UP NEXT: Florida's fall practices have concluded. The Gators will resume practices in the spring on Jan. 26 and will start the season on Friday, Feb. 16, against Siena. The full 2018 schedule is online here.
