Gators in the NFL – Week 14

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Another Sunday full of NFL action has come and gone, and 47 Gators on 27 teams took to the field for week 14 action on the gridiron.
Gators can be found all throughout the NFL, and the 47 current Gators in the NFL puts Florida inside the top-5 for the most players from one university.
Jarrad Davis was all over the field for the Detroit Lions in his return to the state of Florida. In the Lions game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Davis recorded nine tackles, six solo and three assisted with a sack and a forced fumble. Davis is the most recent First-Round Draft Pick for the Gators. While at UF Davis accumulated 201 tackles. 5.5 sacks, one interception and two forced fumbles.
