Stevens Earns IWLCA National Player of the Week Honors

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association recognized University of Florida women's lacrosse player Mollie Stevens on Wednesday as the Division I National Offensive Player of the Week.
A senior attacker, Stevens had a well-rounded performance in Florida's only game of the week, a 15-8 victory over BIG EAST rival No. 13 Denver on March 25.
Stevens scored five goals against the Pioneers' defense, which came into the contest only giving up 7.75 total goals per game. She also recorded six draw controls and tied for the team lead with four ground balls.
The clash against Denver was the fourth game this season Stevens has scored at least five goals, and the fifth game she has won at least six draw controls.
Her performance also garnered BIG EAST Attacker of the Week honors for the third time this season.
