GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The UF athletic program kept a remarkable streak alive this week.
The Gators women's tennis team won the national title Tuesday night, marking the eighth consecutive year at least one Florida program claimed a national championship. On this week's show, host Adam Schick covers that accomplishment (1:36) in a roundtable discussion with FloridaGators.com senior writers Scott Carter and Chris Harry.
That's not all, of course.
Our roundtable discusses the UF baseball team's regular-season SEC championship (8:30), the return of UF center John Egbunu, (13:18), football coach Jim McElwain's trip to Dallas (17:40), and the top-ranked UF softball team's All-SEC Super Regional (21:09) against Alabama.
Adam also learns about the backstory and development of SEC Pitcher of the Year Kelly Barnhill, who was on the mound in Florida's Game 1 loss to Alabama on Thursday. Barnhill will play a key role if the Gators make a push for the Women's College World Series (26:40).
