The Florida coaching staff celebrated a big weekend of recruiting by causing waves on Tuesday night at Jim McElwain's house.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Gators coaching staff's primary slogan on social media for the recruiting class of 2018 is #AllBite18.
It turned into #AllSplash on Tuesday night at head coach Jim McElwain's house. A short video posted by running backs coach JaJuan Seider should help explain if you haven't seen it:
The Gators hosted Friday Night Lights over the weekend -- their biggest recruiting showcase of the year on campus -- and received a surge on the recruiting trail, which shot Florida up the national rankings for next year's class.
Florida has gained significant momentum in recruiting over the past week. It's a good way to cap the summer as the Gators begin to focus on the start of McElwain's third season.
The coaches and recruiting staff took some time to cool off Tuesday night and shared the moment with fans and recruits. Current Gators enjoyed the show, too:
In the modern recruiting landscape, coaching staffs must use social media in more creative and authentic ways to catch the attention of recruits. The Gators decided to #QuakeThePool. They definitely made a splash -- in the pool and on social media.
