Florida one of seven SEC schools in the poll
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Gators are ranked 10th in the 2017 Bushnell/Golfweek Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced Friday.
Florida is one of seven SEC schools to be ranked in the initial top 25 along with Vanderbilt, LSU, Auburn, Texas A&M, Alabama and Georgia. The Gators join Vanderbilt, 2, and LSU, 7, as the three SEC teams ranked inside of the top 10.
The seven SEC schools ranked in the top 25 is the most of any conference in the country. The Big 12 is second with five schools.
