Florida led the way with five preseason All-SEC selections heading into the 2018 season.
Gators Prominent Throughout Preseason All-SEC Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Wednesday morning the Southeastern Conference announced the 2018 Preseason All-SEC Team, which was headlined by the selection of five Florida Gators.
Seniors Kayli Kvistad, Aleshia Ocasio and Nicole DeWitt, along with juniors Kelly Barnhill and Amanda Lorenz were selected to this year's preseason team. All five Gators earned 2017 All-SEC Team first team honors last season with Barnhill claiming SEC Pitcher of the Year.
Florida's five selections, the most in the league, was followed by two selections each from Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss and Texas A&M. Alabama, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee all had one player selected to round out the preseason team.
Florida begins its' 2018 campaign at the USF Wilson-DeMarini Tournament in Tampa versus Illinois State (Feb. 9) with the first SEC series slated against Kentucky (Mar. 9-11) at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.
Fans looking to purchase single game tickets for home games will have the opportunity to do so starting Jan. 24 for season ticket holders, and Jan. 31 for the general public. For more information, contact the Gator Ticket office.
