Join Coach Mullen at Saturday’s Men’s Basketball Game

In addition to Gators coach Dan Mullen, defensive end Cece Jefferson will shooting off the t-shirt cannon at the under-4 media timeout in the first half.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida fans will have the chance to hear from new head football coach Dan Mullen at Saturday's men's basketball showdown against Baylor in Exactech Arena.
Mullen, who was introduced as the 27th head coach in UF football history last November, will address the packed house at the beginning of halftime.
Mullen, who spent the past nine seasons as Mississippi State's head coach (2009-17), returns to Gainesville where he served four seasons (2005-08) as offensive coordinator and was a major factor in the program winning two Southeastern Conference and BCS National Titles (2006, 2008) during his tenure.
In addition, senior defensive end Cece Jefferson will be assisting the UAA's marketing staff as he shoots t-shirts into the stands at the under-4 minute media timeout in the first half.
Jefferson, who recently announced his plans to forego the NFL Draft and return to Florida for his senior season, enjoyed the best season of his UF career in 2017. The Baker County native finished fourth on the team with 47 tackles and led the Gators with tackles-for-loss (13.5) and sacks (4.5).
