How to Stay Safe and Enjoy the Gators

As the Gators kick off a Spring semester full of events, we want all of our fans to have a safe and enjoyable time cheering on UF. As many fans have experienced, Exactech Arena installed metal detectors over the summer to keep Gator Nation safe at all events held there.
For those who haven't been to Exactech Arena since then, here's a quick refresher on the best practices for getting to your seat as quickly as possible to enjoy Gator athletics.
Bags will be checked before entering the building. When using the metal detectors, fans need to empty their pockets but can keep items in hand, raising them above your head while walking through the detector. After that, tickets will be scanned and you're on your way. For men's basketball games, Gates 1, 2 and 4 are open to the general public, with Gate 3 set aside for student entry. Gate 2 is the recommended entry for fans who park and ride the shuttle.
For gymnastics, Gates 1 & 2 are available to everyone, with Gate 3 again serving as the student gate.
