More collegiate gymnastics coverage is coming to the SEC Network. The Gators make six live regular-season appearances in 2019.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Who doesn't like more?
The SEC Network is your source for more live collegiate gymnastics meet coverage again in 2019. With 18 live events planned for 2019, the SEC Network again expands its coverage of live events for the upcoming season. For nine consecutive weekends beginning with Jan. 11 Missouri at Florida meet, fans can tune in to see some of the top collegiate gymnastics teams compete in the nation's most competitive conference.
The Florida Gators appear in six regular-season meets airing live on the SEC Network. This includes the Jan. 25 Kentucky at Florida dual launching that evening's SEC Network's coverage. That meet starts an hour earlier (5:45 p.m.) as the SEC Network airs three league meets that evening.
The 24/7 sports network launched in August of 2014 and operated by ESPN, has grown the coverage of collegiate gymnastics from 10 live events in 2015 to an all-time high of 19 live events for 2019.
All five of Florida's regular-season home meets also stream live on SEC Network +.
Both sessions of the March 23 SEC Gymnastics Championships air live, with Session I airing on SEC Network and Session II on ESPN2.
"Collegiate gymnastics fans are loving the coverage the SEC Network brings each weekend," Florida Head Coach Jenny Rowland said. "What a phenomenal job the SEC Network is doing to showcase our sport and the amazing student-athletes."
It isn't just the SEC Network expanding collegiate gymnastics coverage. Seven regular-season meets air live on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU in 2019.
