Gators in Last Weekend's Action:
Florida lost in a pair of shutouts to top-12 teams in last week's SEC action. A goal in each half gave No. 9 Tennessee the win Thursday at the Donald R. Dizney Stadium. In Sunday's match at No. 12 South Carolina, a first-half goal gave the Gamecocks a 1-0 win.
 
Last Meeting Between UF-UA:
When the two teams met last year in Gainesville, Florida scored all its goals in the second half to claim a 3-0 win over Alabama. Deanne Rose scored the first and final goals for her second double-goal outing in a three-match span. Mayra Pelayo hit the middle goal just under two minutes after Rose opened the scoring in the 50th minute.

• Alabama is Florida's 10^th 2018 opponent that advanced to 2017 NCAA Tournament play.
• Alabama and Florida have met four common opponents in league play. Both teams lost to Vanderbilt and defeated Kentucky. UF won against LSU (Alabama loss) and tied Mississippi State (UA loss).
