JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The annual Florida-Georgia game is underway here at TIAA Bank Field.
The matchup between the No. 7-ranked Bulldogs and ninth-ranked Gators is the first in the series in which both teams are ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 in a decade.

1ST QUARTER
Georgia 3, Florida 0 (8:11) -- Georgia took the opening kickoff and marched down the field on a 12-play, 71-yard drive that ended with a 21-yard field goal by Rodrigo Blankenship. Georgia running back D'Andre Swift delivered the key play on the drive when he broke free for a 23-yard gain on second-and-3 from UF's 42.
Georgia 10, Florida 0 (6:07) -- The Bulldogs took advantage of a fumble by Florida running back Jordan Scarlett on UF's third play from scrimmage. Scarlett fumbled after a 9-yard gain and the ball was scooped up by Georgia safety Richard LeCounte, who returned it 32 yards to Florida's 13. Three plays later, Bulldogs quarterback Jake Fromm connected with Jeremiah Holloman in the left corner of the end zone for a 16-yard scoring pass.
Notes: The Gators opened their first drive with a flea-flicker on which quarterback Feleipe Franks overthrew receiver Van Jefferson. Two plays later is when Scarlett lost the fumble ... On UF's second possession, Franks threw a pass that was picked off by Tyrique McGhee ... Georgia outgained the Gators 85-71 in the first quarter, including 64-48 on the ground ... The Gators lost starting cornerback CJ Henderson to an injury early in the period ... Freshman quarterback Emory Jones replaced Franks for the final play of the first quarter, just his second appearance of the season. He played in the season opener against Charleston Southern.
2ND QUARTER
Georgia 10, Florida 7 (9:57) -- Florida is on the board on Franks' 1-yard run. Franks scored the play after Scarlett bruised his way 14 yards to Georgia's 1. Scarlett's run was the biggest gain on the Gators' 14-play, 76-yard drive that covered 7:04. The Gators forced Georgia to punt after Franks' was picked off by McGhee, which led UF's impressive scoring drive.
Georgia 13, Florida 7 (0:02) -- Georgia took over at its 20 with 50 seconds left in the first half after Florida's Johnny Townsend booted a 71-yard punt into the end zone. Fromm connected with tight end Isaac Nauta on four consecutive passes for 66 yards, moving to UF's 14 in less than 40 seconds. The drive stalled and led to Blankenship's 22-yard field goal with two seconds remaining before halftime.
Notes: Franks was 7 of 11 for 49 yards and an interception in the first half; Fromm was 8 of 11 for 97 yards and one touchdown ... Georgia had a narrow edge in total yards in the first half (170-159) ... The Gators out-rushed the Bulldogs 110-73 ... Jones came back in the second half for a series but on third-and-1, he waited too long to pitch the ball and it was knocked to the ground by a Georgia defender. Jones recovered the fumble and punted ... The Gators had the ball for 16:54 in the first half compared to 13:06 for Georgia.
3RD QUARTER
Florida 14, Georgia 13 (13:35) -- Kadarius Toney jump-started the Gators in the second half with a 51-yard kickoff return. Three plays later, Franks drilled a pass across the middle to Freddie Swain for a 36-yard touchdown. The Gators drove 48 yards on three plays in 1:14 for their first lead of the game.
Georgia 20, Florida 14 (10:33) -- The Bulldogs quickly responded on their first drive of the second half, marching 72 yards on seven plays in less than three minutes. Fromm threw his second touchdown pass of the game to Holloman, this one for 12 yards. Once again, Gators cornerback C.J. McWilliams, playing in place of injured starter Henderson, was on coverage.
Georgia 23, Florida 14 (0:07) -- A fumble by Franks, who was stripped by McGhee, gave the Bulldogs the ball at Florida's 1. Six plays and zero yards later -- plus a couple of penalties, including a pass interference call on McWilliams and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on UF head coach Dan Mullen -- Blankenship connected on his third field goal, an 18-yarder to extend Georgia's lead to nine.
Notes: Henderson is back on the sideline holding is helmet but has not come back into the game since leaving due to an injury ... Safety Brad Stewart is also dressed and standing on the sideline. Stewart has not played today, leaving the Gators without two key contributors in the secondary.
4TH QUARTER
Georgia 23, Florida 17 (11:12) -- The Gators aren't going away, driving 50 yards on seven plays to once again make it a one-score game on freshman kicker Evan McPherson's 42-yard field goal. Two big plays on the drive: a 20-yard run by Franks on the first play, and a pass interference call against Georgia's Tyson Campbell. On the play, Jones replaced Franks and threw deep down right sideline for Jefferson.
Georgia 29, Florida 17 (8:39) -- Fromm guides the Bulldogs on a nine-play, 75-yard drive that gives Georgia its biggest lead of the game. Fromm capped the drive with a 24-yard touchdown pass to Terry Godwin. Fromm, who faced criticism from Georgia fans after struggling in a loss at LSU, is now 16 of 23 for 218 yards and three touchdowns.
Georgia 36, Florida 17 (4:29) -- Ballgame as they say. D'Andre Swift breaks off a 33-yard touchdown run and the Georgia side of the stadium is celebrating. The Gators' side is emptying. Georgia has outgained the Gators 244-96 in the second half.
