GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The No. 11-ranked Gators (6-2, 4-2 in Southeastern Conference) host Missouri (4-4, 0-4) this afternoon on Homecoming at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
Florida seeks to rebound from last week's loss to Georgia and from a 29-point defeat at Missouri a season ago. The Tigers, after winning their first three games of the season, have lost four of their last five.

1ST QUARTER
Gators 3, Missouri 0 (7:18) -- Starting their second possession of the game at Missouri's 31-yard line after a punt and illegal-batting penalty (yeah, that's right), the Gators quickly took advantage of the generous field position when Kadarius Toney raced 12 yards to the Tigers' 19 on first down. However, the drive stalled and after quarterback Feleipe Franks threw incomplete in the corner of the end zone to tight end Lucas Krull on third-and-6 from Missouri's 15, freshman kicker Evan McPherson banged a 32-yard field goal through off the right upright for the game's first points.
Missouri 7, Gators 3 (3:46) -- The Tigers quickly respond to Florida's scoring drive by going 76 yards on nine plays, capped by running back Larry Rountree's 27-yard scoring run. Rountree carried three times for 35 yards on the drive and quarterback Drew Lock was 5-for-5 for 33 yards.
******
Notes: Missouri finished with 135 yards in the first quarter, and that included a nice play by UF safety Shawn Davis on the final play of the quarter when he dropped Tigers running back Damar Crockett for a 5-yard loss; Florida had 47 yards ... McPherson has made his last 10 field-goal attempts and improved to 13 of 14 for the season ... Cornerback CJ Henderson returned to the lineup and started for the Gators. Henderson missed most of the Georgia game after suffering a back injury in the first quarter ... Gators sophomore safety Brad Stewart started after not playing in the loss to Georgia for unspecified reasons ... Lock passed former UF quarterback Danny Wuerffel to move into sixth-place in SEC history in career passing yards. Lock was 9 of 12 for 56 yards in the opening quarter and needed just 37 yards to pass Wuerffel (10,875 career yards).
2ND QUARTER
Missouri 14, Florida 3 (13:12) -- Following a UF punt, Missouri drove 43 yards on four plays -- in just 47 seconds -- to extend its lead to 11. Lock finished off the drive with a 22-yard touchdown pass to tight end Albert Okwuegbunam. The scoring pass was Lock's 17th of the season. He tossed an SEC-record 44 touchdown passes in 2017.
Missouri 21, Florida 3 (6:06) -- Missouri's offense is taking advantage of being on the field while Florida's offense is having trouble staying on the field. The Tigers drive 78 yards on seven plays as Damar Crockett polishes it off with a 4-yard scoring run. Crockett's 24-yard run to start the drive set the tone for what transpired over the next six plays.
Missouri 21, Florida 10 (1:42) -- The Gators' offense finally woke up to drive 75 yards on 10 plays. The big play came on a 27-yard pass from Franks to Toney down the right sideline. Toney made the back-shoulder catch as he was falling out of bounds. The play moved the Gators to Missouri's 12, where Franks then reeled off a 9-yard run followed by a 3-yard touchdown run to give the Homecoming crowd at the Swamp something to cheer about.
******
Notes: Missouri outgained the Gators 274-164 in the first half ... Franks finished 7 of 18 for 78 yards in the first half; Lock 15 of 21 for 126 yards and a touchdown ... UF receiver/punt returner Freddie Swain had to be helped off the field by teammate in the final minute after a short return ... Franks' touchdown run was his third of the season, tying running backs Lamical Perine and Jordan Scarlett for the team lead ... The touchdown catch for Okwuegbunam was his team-leading sixth of the season. However, the 6-foot-5, 255-pound redshirt sophomore left the field with a trainer later in the quarter nursing an apparent arm injury.
3RD QUARTER
Missouri 28, Florida 10 (10:02) -- Not what the Gators needed to start the second half. Florida's offense goes three-and-out, and the Tigers respond with an eight-play, 66-yard drive. Lock threw a strike to Kam Scott on a post route for a 41-yard touchdown pass. Scott ran past cornerback Trey Dean, and with no safety help, Lock dropped his 18th touchdown pass of the season into Scott's hands. Lock is now 19 of 25 for 189 yards and two touchdowns.
Missouri 35, Florida 10 (5:00) -- Lock strikes again, throwing a 4-yard scoring strike to receiver Emanuel Hall. Lock's third touchdown pass of the game caps an eight-play, 49-yard drive for the Tigers. Hall is playing for the first time in more than a month due to an injury.
Missouri 35, Florida 17 (0:20) -- The Gators respond to the quarterback change from Franks to Kyle Trask with a 13-play, 75-yard drive that took 4:40 of the clock. Trask's 7-yard touchdown pass to Josh Hammond, the first scoring throw of his career, gave the Gators a jolt of energy heading into the final quarter. Trask finished 5 of 8 for 59 yards on the drive.
******
Notes: Gators coach Dan Mullen pulled Franks and inserted redshirt sophomore Kyle Trask late in the third quarter. Franks was 9 of 22 for 84 yards when he was pulled. Trask connected on his first three passes for 39 yards to drive the Gators into Missouri territory ... UF punter Tommy Townsend received two personal foul penalties in the first 7 minutes, 9 seconds of the second half, both at the end of punt returns ... In press box, Missouri announces Okwuegbunam will not return to the game due to a bruised shoulder and that running back Tyler Badie (ankle) will not return ... Swain ran out for second half and is back on Gators' sideline after needing assistance to leave the field near the end of the first half ...
4TH QUARTER
Missouri 38, Florida 17 (9:08) -- Tucker McCann kicks a 40-yard field goal to cap a 12-play, 53-yard drive that consumed 6:12.
******
Notes: Missouri has converted 11 of 17 third-down attempts after the drive that led to McCann's field goal.
