Gators in Tuesday's Action:
An early goal held for 83 minutes as Florida upset top-seeded and No. 10 Vanderbilt 1-0 in SEC Tournament quarterfinal play Tuesday. The goal started with Mayra Pelayo's cross finding fellow senior Laís Araujo in the middle of the box. The ball popped up off Araujo's touch and then it was a foot race between sophomore Madison Alexander and VU goalkeeper Lauren Demarchi. Alexander got just enough foot on ball to send it toward goal where it caught crossbar's underside to bang in at 6:20 – the earliest Gator goal of 2018.

The final result added to senior goalkeeper Kaylan Marckese's Florida career record for solo shutouts (29).

Of the four SEC Tournament quarterfinal matches, three lower seeds advanced to the semifinal. Arkansas was the only higher seed to win Tuesday.

Last Meeting Between UF-Arkansas:
When the two teams met last Thursday in Gainesville for the regular-season finale and Gator Senior Day, Florida took a 3-0 win over Arkansas.

Senior Briana Solis gave UF an early lead with a 20-yard strike in the 10th minute. Deanne Rose hit her first two goals of 2018 within a four-minute second-half span to give her four double goal matches in her two seasons as a Gator.

Arkansas Quick Hits:
