McMullen Brothers Lead Blue Team to Win

The Blue team used strong performances from both of the McMullen brothers in a come-from-behind 7-3 win over the Orange squad in Game 1 of the annual Orange & Blue Series.
After falling behind 3-0 through three innings, the Blue side scored seven unanswered runs to win the opening game of the series.
Junior Kirby McMullen almost single-handedly carried the offense, totaling five RBI with a pair of home runs and a double. His brother, sophomore Hunter McMullen, pitched three scoreless innings out of the bullpen for the Blue team to finish off the game.
Sophomore Jack Leftwich started for the Orange side and went three scoreless while Tommy Mace allowed two earned in three innings as the Blue's starting pitcher.
Game 2 of the series will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at McKethan Stadium.
