"This is a dream class for us. We've added four quality young men who come from great families. They are committed to being the best on the golf course and in the classroom. Being a Gator is a big deal to all of them. I'm so excited to watch them flourish at the University of Florida!" –Head Coach JC Deacon
Ricky Castillo | Yorba Linda, Calif.
"Ricky Castillo is a very special young man and golfer. I have known him and his family since I got into coaching. His long-time commitment to the University of Florida has been unwavering and means the world to me. Ricky is ultra-competitive and will bring a much needed edge to our lineup. This past September he represented the United States of America at the Junior Ryder Cup. Ricky is a 5-Star prospect who will make the Gators better the moment he arrives on campus." –Head Coach JC Deacon
John DuBois | Windermere, Fla.
"We feel very lucky to have John DuBois join our Gator Golf program in August 2019. John comes from a great golf family and is one of the nicest young men I have ever met. He has made some big leaps in 2018, including his recent Class 1A Florida State Championship win. John is one of the best golfers in the state of Florida and has all the characteristics needed to be a highly successful student-athlete at the University of Florida." –Head Coach JC Deacon
Fred Biondi | São Paulo, Brazil
"I have recruited Fred for a long time and had the opportunity to watch him play a lot of golf. He is a natural shot maker and has everything it takes to be a top Division I golfer. Fred has a great demeanor that is going to bring a lot of confidence and leadership to our team. Fred has won at every level of his golf career and possesses one of the best swings you will ever see. The University of Florida is lucky to have him." –Head Coach JC Deacon
Quentin Debove | Paris, France
"Quentin and his family are very special, first class in everything they do. Quentin is currently ranked 179th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, an incredible feat for a player his age. He has played all over the world and brings great experience to our freshman class. Coming to the University of Florida brings him closer to his great swing coach and the opportunity to take his game to another level. Quentin is going to benefit from our perfect golf climate, Top 10 schedule, and high level academics. I am so excited to get him here."
