Amanda O’Leary earned Victory Club recognition after earning her 300th win last season
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) held its annual honors banquet on Wednesday night and Florida's own Amanda O'Leary was one of the evening's honorees.
O'Leary earned a spot in the Victory Club after reaching the 300-win milestone last season.
The 16-11 victory over Georgetown on March 24 gave O'Leary her 300th career win and made her just the fifth DI coach to achieve that mark.
The Gators have racked up the accolades under her tutelage – winning eight regular season conference championships and six tournament conference championships.
At Florida, she has coached 17 players with 59 All-America honors and she has earned three ALC Coach of the Year honors and three BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year honors.
In total, 11 coaches earned Victory Club recognition for their milestone victories in the 2018 season.
