Thursday, December 27, 2018 | Men's Basketball
Redshirt freshman forward Chase Johnson has decided to transfer from the University of Florida. Johnson appeared in six games for the Gators, tallying 23 points and 12 rebounds.
"We wish Chase nothing but the best and will support him however we can as he moves on from Florida," head coach Mike White said.
The Ripley, W.Va., native appeared in the first four games of the 2017-18 season before missing the remainder of the year under concussion protocol and was granted a medical redshirt. Johnson appeared in two games this season, but suffered another concussion in November.
