Gators Jump to No. 3 in Latest IWLCA Poll

UF began the 2018 season ranked No. 5 in the IWLCA Preseason Poll.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After a thorough victory over then-No. 17 Colorado and a tightly contested affair against No. 1 Maryland on Saturday, the University of Florida lacrosse team has moved to No. 3 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll, as announced by the IWLCA on Monday.
The Gators began the 2018 season ranked No. 5 in the IWLCA Preseason Poll.
With BIG EAST rival Denver joining the poll at No. 21, Florida is now set to play eight games against teams ranked in the IWLCA Top-25.
Up next for the Gators is a noon tilt against No. 23 Loyola on Sunday, Feb. 25 at Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
