Sunday's tilt will be the 10th meeting between the Gators and Commodores. Florida has played Vanderbilt at least once in each of its nine seasons.

Florida faced a grueling start to the 2018 season, with six of its first seven games in non-conference play coming against ranked opponents. The Gators picked up a pair of Top-10 wins (at No. 3 North Carolina, vs. No. 10 Navy), and have a 4-2 record against teams ranked in the IWLCA Top-25 thus far.

With a 5-2 record, Vanderbilt is off to its best start since also starting 5-2 during the 2012 season. The Commodores dropped a 12-10 decision at Saint Joseph's in their last contest.

Head Coach Amanda O'Leary:
"The second part of the season is here for us. The BIG EAST will be very competitive this year with several teams having a strong start to their seasons. It's going to be very important for our team to start the game with a high energy level because Vanderbilt is explosive on the offensive end of the field. Having success in the draw circle and winning possession of the ball will be critical in this game."

BIG EAST Dominance
Since joining the BIG EAST prior to the 2015 season, Florida has reeled off three consecutive regular season and tournament championships. The Gators enter conference play on a 22-game win streak against conference opponents, and have posted a 28-1 record overall including BIG EAST Tournament games.
