Florida opens the SEC Championships' Session II competition on uneven bars
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators look for their 11th Southeastern Conference championship Saturday evening in St. Louis' Chaifetz Arena. The league office announced the seeds and rotation order for Saturday's two competitive sessions today.
Florida is the No. 2 seed for the 38th edition of the SEC Championships and begins Session II competition on the uneven bars. The seeds are based on the final regular-season regional qualifying scores, available on the Road to Nationals website.
LSU won 198.075 – 197.825 over Florida to claim its first title since 1981 at the 2017 SECs in Jacksonville's Veterans Memorial Arena. Two Gators claimed two event titles in 2017 – Kennedy Baker (floor) and Alex McMurtry (all-around, floor).
