Florida looks for its fourth NCAA title this weekend in St. Louis' Chaifetz Arena
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – It's the final destination the Gator gymnastics team worked toward all season. Now Florida looks for a return to the top of the podium at the NCAA Championships, set for April 20-21 at the Chaifetz (SHAY-vitz) Arena in St. Louis, Mo.

NCAA Championship' Competition:
To move ahead to Saturday's NCAA Championships' Super Six team final, the Gators need a top-three finish in Friday's second semifinal.
Florida is in Friday's second semifinal. It begins at 7 p.m. and airs live on ESPNU.
Florida in 2017 NCAA Championships' Competition:
The Gators took third in 2017 NCAA Super Six action (197.70), as Oklahoma claimed its third team title (198.3875). Alex McMurtry set the NCAA semifinal record to win the all-around (39.8125) and her mark of 9.95 shared the NCAA uneven bars title. A Gator has won five of the last six NCAA all-around titles – Kytra Hunter (2012, 2015), McMurtry (2017) and Bridget Sloan (2013, 2016).
Five Gators collected 10 All-America honors in 2017 NCAA semifinal action – Kennedy Baker, Alicia Boren, Amelia Hundley, McMurtry and Rachel Slocum. Florida returns all but Baker to 2018 NCAA competition, as Baker's Achilles team at the end of February ended her collegiate career.

- The six teams to win NCAA team titles in the meet's 36-year history are evenly split between the two semifinals (I: Alabama, UCLA, Georgia; II: Florida, Oklahoma, Utah). The teams appearing in the 2017 NCAA Super Six are split between the two 2018 semifinals (I: Alabama, UCLA, LSU; II: Florida, Oklahoma, Utah).
- The Southeastern Conference sends a league-record six to the 2018 NCAA Championships (prior record of five accomplished 10 times). This marks the 25th consecutive season the SEC has sent at least three teams to the NCAA Championships. Kentucky is making its NCAA Championships' debut in 2018 and is the 36th program to advance to the national stage in the event's 37-year history.
