Carter's Corner: Bryan & Callaway, Rotation Change, Etc.
Thursday, April 26, 2018 | Football, Scott Carter
Gators defensive lineman Taven Bryan and receiver Antonio Callaway are the two most talked about UF players in the NFL Draft, which starts tonight.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – I remember back when NFL mock drafts were just an internet craze. Now, you catch watch them on TV. Thank goodness the real thing is here starting tonight.
While the Gators didn't have the kind of season they expected in 2017, they have talent that keeps NFL scouts pushing rewind over and over to watch film of players like defensive lineman Taven Bryan, defensive back Duke Dawson and receiver Antonio Callaway.
You know the Gator storylines by now: Will man-child Bryan go in the first round? Is Dawson the next member of DBU to hear his name called in the draft? Which team is going to take a chance on Callaway? Could Eddy Pineiro and Johnny Townsend both get drafted?
Let's take a look at some of those storylines and others concerning items of interest to Gators fans this morning in our latest links blog:
