
Six Gators Earn IL Media All-American Honors

Cara Trombetta named First Team All-American
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – As No. 6 Florida is set to play in the NCAA Quarterfinal, six Gators earned the title of IL Media All-American.
Sophomore Cara Trombetta earned First Team All-American honors, while junior Haley Hicklen was voted on to the Second Team. Junior Lindsey Ronbeck and freshman Sabrina Cristodero each garnered Third Team accolades and Shayna Pirreca and Sydney Pirreca rounded out the Gators with an Honorable Mention nod.
Florida faces No. 3 seed James Madison Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament. The Gators look to punch their first ticket to the Final Four since the 2012 season.

- Became the sixth Gator to break 200 career points (209)
