Trio of Gators Named NFCA All-Americans

Lorenz, Barnhill and DeWitt earn NFCA All-America honors
OKLAHOMA CITY – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced Wednesday afternoon that Kelly Barnhill, Amanda Lorenz and Nicole DeWitt received NFCA All-American honors.
Barnhill and Lorenz both earned spots as NFCA First Team All-Americans, while DeWitt placed on the second team. This is Lorenz's third All-American accolade, while it is the second for Barnhill and first for DeWitt.
Since 2007, 19 Florida players have earned 40 NFCA All-American accolades and five Gators are currently roster have received the All-American title 12 times. This is also the fourth consecutive year that UF has had at least three All-American selections.
The Gators will gear up to face SEC foe Georgia at 2018 Women's College World Series at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2 Thursday, May 31.
